I collaborated with five other theatre-makers from RCSSD to conceptualizing, developing, build and play a new game show in which prison inmates Compete in storytelling for reduced sentences.

Before arriving, the audience was sent a confirmation email with details to the ‘prison’ and a trailer for the game show.

After the Hall of Fame, the audience entered the studio in which the live taping took place. The space included two screens: one displaying the game prompts while the other showed the live feed of the contestants, giving the audience the choice to distance themselves by watching the screens rather than the players.

The game show audience first entered the ‘Hall of Fame’ which displayed the game’s corporate background, the layout of the prison, and past winners of the game show.

The improv game required the players to re-tell stories from the headlines as fairy tales, examining the notion that there is no such thing as 'the real story'.
